Vertical Stacked temperature control units (Z-Series)

Designed for multiple temperature control zones on the same application. Vertically stacked units are easily serviced and take up minimal floor space. These units provide flow rates from 10 to 50 GPM and heating from 6 to 18 KW. Cooling is provided with closed loop shell & tube or brazed plate heat exchangers, or open loop direct injection cooling via on/off solenoid or modulating pneumatic control valves. A single loop PID temperature controller is standard, with options for other controllers to meet your specifications. The Z series units are excellent for small and medium extrusion and mixing applications.

Multi-Zone Mixer Temperature Control Units (X-Series)

Designed specifically for temperature control of mixer applications. Systems come in two zone or three zone configurations with separate zone controls for mixer rotors and sides.

Options include:

  • Close or long coupled pumps
  • Electric immersion heating with on/off or modulating control with solid state or SCR heater controls
  • Steam heated shell & tube, gasketed plate & frame, brazed plate or welded plate heat exchangers. All heat exchangers are ASME code stamped.
  • Closed loop cooling via shell & tube, gasketed plate & frame, brazed plate, or welded plate heat exchangers. All heat exchangers are ASME code stamped.
  • Open loop cooling via direct injection from the cooling source into the process recirculation loop
  • Single loop PID temperature controller or PLC control

Medium-to-High Flow Rate Temperature Control Units (Y-Series)

Designed for medium to high flow rates in single or multi-zone skids. Zones are placed horizontally for easy access to pumps and control valves. The Y series units are excellent for mill and calendar applications.

Options include:
